Overview

LinkNotes is a browser extension that helps you manage notes, tags, reminders, and interaction history for your LinkedIn connections. Your privacy is important to us.

Data Storage

Free Tier (Default)

By default, all data is stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage API. No data leaves your device.

Pro Tier (Optional Cloud Sync)

If you choose to upgrade to Pro and enable cloud sync, your connection data is synced to Firebase Firestore (hosted by Google Cloud). All sensitive data is end-to-end encrypted before leaving your device, meaning neither LinkNotes nor Google can read your notes, tags, reminders, or interaction logs.

What Data Is Stored Locally

When you use LinkNotes, the following information is saved on your device:
